Call for Papers: APJPH Special Issue on Implementation Science (Submission Deadline extended to 30 November 2026)

The Asia Pacific Journal of Public Health (APJPH) invites submissions for a special issue entitled:

“Implementation Science for Real-World Public Health Impact in Asia-Pacific”

The special issue aims to showcase research and evidence on the implementation of public health interventions, programmes, policies, and innovations across the Asia-Pacific region.

Topics of Interest

Topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Implementation of public health programmes and policies
  • Primary care and community-based implementation research
  • Digital health and artificial intelligence implementation
  • Implementation strategies and outcomes
  • Pragmatic and hybrid effectiveness-implementation studies
  • Policy implementation
  • Other research addressing implementation science and real-world public health impact in the Asia-Pacific region

Types of Submissions

The special issue welcomes:

  • Original research articles
  • Systematic and scoping reviews
  • Implementation case studies
  • Short reports
  • Commentaries

Expected Publication: September 2027
