Invitation to the 2026 Asia Winter School in Seoul, South Korea

We are pleased to announce that the 2026 Asia Winter School will be held in Seoul, South Korea, from 2–4 February 2026.

The Asia Winter School is designed to strengthen the analytical and research capacity of early-career researchers and graduate students across Asia, with a particular focus on health impact assessments related to climate change and environmental exposures. This program is part of an ongoing Winter School series organized by the University of Tokyo since 2023.

The curriculum will cover a broad range of topics, including short- and long-term health associations, future projections, and practical applications of machine-learning methods in environmental epidemiology. Participants will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of advanced analytical approaches and expand their research skills through structured lectures and hands-on learning.

The program will commence with the Symposium for Environmental Epidemiology in East Asia on 1 February 2026, featuring keynote lectures by distinguished scholars. This will be followed by lecture sessions offering an advanced curriculum on recent developments and cutting-edge analytical methods in environmental epidemiology. All sessions will be conducted in English and delivered by an international faculty with extensive expertise in the field.
