We are pleased to announce the opportunity for our members to apply for the APACPH Multi-Countries Research Grant. The details are as below.
The Asia-Pacific Academic Consortium for Public Health (APACPH) research fund aims to encourage and support corporative research on public health in the Asia-pacific region. The APACPH research fund is intended to strengthen the international academic exchanges among countries in the Asia-pacific region by providing an opportunity to collaborate with institutions in different countries. The scope of our research fund is broad and multidisciplinary, encouraging all research that contributes to public health in the region.
Language
All correspondence and documents shall be written in English.
Proposal length
The total length of the proposal should be a maximum of 10 pages
Eligibility of applicants
Eligible applicants are any APACPH member institutions that have paid membership fees for the last three
years. Individual applicants or/and non-members are not eligible.
All research must cover at least three different countries
Amount of grant
The maximum amount of grant is 15,000 USD at multi-countries membership institutions in the Asia-Pacific Region.
Outcome measures
Outcome measures can be one of the followings:
a. White paper
b. Publications (in international journals such as APJPH)
c. Capacity building
d. Human capital development
e. Programs
Duration of the research
The duration of the research is a maximum of 12 months with a no-cost extension option of one year.
Monitoring of the progress (reporting requirements)
Interim progress report must be submitted within 30 days after the first 6 months and final report is
required to be submitted 60 days of the last day.
