2025 APACPH Election: 1st Announcement

We will conduct the 2025 APACPH Election for four positions.

Secretary General, President-Elect, Vice President-1, Vice President-2

Below are the brief Terms of Reference for each position.

Secretary General: The primary responsibility shall be the development, expansion, and retention of membership, strengthening membership collaborative efforts in cooperation with the regional directors, as well as establishing long-term development plans and networks. Terms: 4 years.

President-Elect: The President-Elect shall perform the duties of the President on all occasions when the Immediate Past President is unable to do so. The President-Elect shall automatically become the next President after the current President’s tenure ends. Terms: 2 years

Vice President-1: The roles are to oversee policies’ translation and strategies’ development. Terms: 2 years

Vice President-2: The roles are to oversee education and research-relevant activities.

Terms: 2 years

Who can vote?

The right to vote and the right to be elected shall be granted only to active members who have fully paid their membership fees for the current year at least three months prior to the election day:

Who can be nominated?

  1. A candidate must be a natural person affiliated with an Institutional Member;
  2. A candidate must have actively engaged in the Association’s activities for at a minimum of five years.

(Some parts of the voting process have been modified. For example, voting will take place on-site on online at the General Assembly (4 Nov. 2025) only by using the internet. It was modified due to the difficult period during COVID-19.)
