Strengthening Global Public Health Leadership: Prof. Low Appointed President-Elect of GNAPH

The Asia-Pacific Academic Consortium for Public Health (APACPH) is proud to announce that Prof. Low Wah Yun has been elected as the President-Elect of the Global Network for Academic Public Health (GNAPH). This prestigious appointment follows a recent election conducted by GNAPH, with results confirmed by the GNAPH Secretariat. Prof Low is the Past-President of APACPH and Editor-in-Chief of the Asia-Pacific Journal of Public Health,

Prof. Low brings to this role a strong record of leadership, academic excellence, and regional collaboration. Her election is a recognition of her personal contributions and the active and respected role APACPH plays in the global public health community.

In her new capacity, Prof. Low will work closely with GNAPH members worldwide to advance the network’s mission of strengthening academic public health institutions and promoting evidence-based health policies. This appointment is anticipated further to enhance the collaborative efforts between GNAPH and APACPH, fostering stronger ties and greater impact in advancing public health across regions.
