Professional recognition for Public Health Educators in the Asia-Pacific Region

Fellowships in the Higher Education Academy (Advance HE) provides the opportunity for an educator to be recognised as a professional within an international teaching quality framework  The fellowship program is supporting personal and professional development in teaching, providing opportunities for networking, peer review, collaboration.

Queensland University of Technology (QUT) has the largest fellowship community outside of the UK and the QUT Academy of Learning and Teaching (QALT) has also supported institutions both within Australia and globally to recognise Fellows, develop their own fellowship community and achieve accreditation as Advance HE members. This work is underpinned by the Advance HE Professional Standards Framework (PSF) as an established benchmark of teaching quality.  This builds upon QUT’s strong record of leadership in learning and teaching. A significant number of QUT staff have received national and international recognition for their practice through a broad range of excellence awards. Since 2016, QUT has partnered with institutions in many countries and regions including include APACPH members institutions in China, Australia, Thailand, Taiwan and Hong Kong SAR.
