WALHI is an independent, non-profit and the biggest environmental organization in Indonesia. It is now present in 25 provinces with 436 member organizations (as of April 2010) which actively campaign in local, national and international scale. In international scale, it campaigns through Friends of the Earth International network with total number of 71 grassroots organizations in 70 countries, 15 affiliation organizations and more than 2 million individual members and supporters worldwide.
