The Asia-Pacific Academic Consortium for Public Health (APACPH) held its Executive Council Meeting 2/2026 on 20 October 2026 at Hotel Tainan, Tainan, Taiwan.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the Executive Council to review APACPH’s ongoing activities and organisational progress. Discussions covered reports from APACPH officers and Regional Directors, updates from collaborating centres and networks, and developments relating to the Asia-Pacific Journal of Public Health (APJPH).
Members also discussed key matters concerning APACPH membership and Secretariat operations, research and grant initiatives, governance and policy matters, and preparations related to the 2026 Executive Board election. The meeting further addressed the APACPH Awards 2026, recognising contributions to public health and the consortium’s continued development across the Asia-Pacific region.
The discussions reaffirmed APACPH’s commitment to strengthening regional partnerships, advancing public health education and research, and fostering collaboration among academic institutions and public health professionals throughout the region.
Following the meeting, Executive Council members and participants gathered for the ECM Dinner, providing an opportunity to continue discussions, strengthen professional connections, and foster fellowship among members in a more informal setting.
