The new President of APACPH and Editor-in-Chief of the APJPH

We are pleased to announce that Professor Dr Wah Yun Low from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya, Malaysia has been installed as the new President of the Asia-Pacific Academic Consortium for Public Health (APACPH) in the recent General Assembly held in conjunction with the 51st APACPH Conference in Amari Watergate Bangkok, Thailand on the 20th November 2019. Her term of office will be for two years. She succeeded Professor Dr Masimine Jimba from the University of Tokyo, Japan who held the presidency from 16th August 2017 until 20th November 2019.

Professor Low will relinquish her position as the Editor-in-Chief of the Asia-Pacific Journal of Public Health (APJPH) during her term as the President of APACPH to Professor Colin Binns from the Curtin University of Technology, Australia.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Professor Jimba for all his contributions and achievements during his tenure, and wishing Professor Low well in steering the consortium for coming two years. Our heartiest congratulations Professor Low!
