The faculty from the Surya Mitra Husada Institute of Science Kediri East Java (STRADA), Indonesia paid a courtesy visit to the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine (SPM), University of Malaya. They were led by Dr Sandu Siyoto the chair of STRADA, the other faculty that were also here were and Dr Yuly Peristiowatti, Dr Koesnadi, Dr Sentot Imam, Dr Indasah, and Dr Byba Melda. They brought along with them 75 Master of Public Health candidates. During the visits to the Department of SPM they also had the opportunity to visit the Asia-Pacific Academic Consortium for Public Health (APACPH) secretariat office located in the Department. Ms Camelina Chan the Executive explained to them the role of the office and the criteria for joining APACPH.
