The Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR), Indonesia, made a short visit to the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine (SPM), the University of Malaya on 22nd January 2019. Universitas Airlangga was represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Public Health – Dr. Tri Martiana, Deputy Dean of Development – Dr Thinni Nurul, Dr. Djazuly and also Dr Ernawaty.
During the visit, they had the opportunity to meet with the Head of Department of Social and Preventive Medicine (SPM) – Prof Dr Sanjay Rampal and Associate Professor Dr Mas Ayu to discuss matters related to planning
In addition, they also had a short meeting regarding of hosting the 52nd APACPH Conference in 2020 with APACPH Vice President Administration, Dr Maznah Dahlui. UNAIR is strongly committed to significantly contribute to the development of health science globally through providing quality academic engagement, academic mobility, research activities as well as community development.
The short visit had been very fruitful and APACPH encourages activities that build the research and teaching capacities of its members institutions.
